Levis Phone set for release next month

Monday, September 10th, 2007

leviphone.jpg OneCompare reports on the much talked about Levis phone, to be released next month, exclusively to Carphone Warehouse.

“The Levis phone has the Levis logo etched onto the back, with metal screws made to look like the rivets found on their popular Jeans. There will be a whole range of accessories to go with the phone for the even more fashion conscious, including denim and leather cases with the familiar ‘red tab’ and a fob chain to hang off your jeans.

Word has it that the Levis phone will be available in three standard options of Silver, Copper and Black, but there will also be more customisable options that customers will be able to mix and match to create a more personalised phone. Other customisable options include mirror screen, casing, rear design and the option to have a message engraved on the back.

The specifications are pretty average, making the phone more of a fashion accessory than a top of the range phone. The Levis phone has a 2 megapixel camera, 40MB internal memory, microSD card slot, stereo Bluetooth and MP3 player.

The Levis phone should be available by October, and will be exclusive to Carphone Warehouse until the end of 2007 before being rolled out to other retailers. OneCompare.com has no word on pricing or networks as yet.
